Jardok of Thrace stood against Reclate of Space. Across the dusty plain, they faced each other. The space-borne digital lance was lowered against a post of solid wood. A black horse stood against a craft from another planet.
With a distant whistle in the gigantic colosseum, thunder and rocket blast joined the two champions.
With a bright orange explosion encased in a digital blue crystal, the hero from space took the obvious victory as his own. The crowd lept from their seats, showering Reclate gloriously.
It would be only weeks before the dinosaurs from the north won the war.

99 Words is a pet project I started in 2011 when at college. The idea was that I didn't have time for writing, but still had passing fancies, visions, plot ideas, and the like. Instead of tossing them to the wayside, I came up with a plan to turn those notes into little chunkules of text, each 99 words long. This is section is still updated.
