99 Words

Number 34

In a deep trance, there was naught but blackness and only the weird sense of prodigious forward movement. Slowly, a faint outline emerged in the crazy distance. The outline was of no particular shape, but all shapes. Curved, fractal, colorful.

This immense bulk began as small spheroid, but now it was all-encompassing. A full glance around shows kaleidoscopic colors on all sides. Vast caverns approach from ahead and disappear far behind. There is no fear for a collision. Whatever path is decidedly safe.

Colossal folds generate shapes evocative of human geometry, but this world was created by mathematics alone.

A Word

99 Words is a pet project I started in 2011 when at college. The idea was that I didn't have time for writing, but still had passing fancies, visions, plot ideas, and the like. Instead of tossing them to the wayside, I came up with a plan to turn those notes into little chunkules of text, each 99 words long. This is section is still updated.
