The brown-cloaked man rode the tortured dragon.
Mountless were the avengers: Lord Fiach and his lady. Brown capes fluttering, they, too, whizzed through the air, hurtling headlong toward the dragon. The lady cast a bolt of lightning and the brown man was struck. Instantly, he was frozen in place on his mount.
The lord raised a cricket bat in his hand and struck the brown man. Instantly, he shattered in a spectacular display of ice. With the ice flew recognizable chunks of body and a copious amount of thick, dark blood.
The lady freed the dragon of its chains.

99 Words is a pet project I started in 2011 when at college. The idea was that I didn't have time for writing, but still had passing fancies, visions, plot ideas, and the like. Instead of tossing them to the wayside, I came up with a plan to turn those notes into little chunkules of text, each 99 words long. This is section is still updated.
